 SOUL SALVAGE PROJECT
ORIGINAL CHRISTIAN BLUES & ROCK

Soul Salvage Project
 is a band of musicians who have come together for the sole purpose of sharing
the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our musical gifts.

For generations,
 the rock & blues genres
 have profoundly affected people
all over the world.
Often memories evoked by
this soulful music bring to mind
times of our youth, our joys, as well as times of pain and regret.

Soul Salvage Project
 has chosen this familiar music,
combining it with
 uplifting  Christian lyrics,
 to reach out to those
who are often overlooked and rejected by our society.

Our mission is to go
 where Christ is already working
to partner with Him in
 sharing His Truth;
all the while encouraging the hurting, the lost, and the dying
in our community -
 using our personal testimony
 of how God saved us and dramatically changed our lives.

Soul Salvage Project's founder and lead vocalist, Angela Wolf, came from a background of Rock and Heavy Metal in the mid 1980s.  For 18 years, she lived a double-life fraught with drugs, alcohol, damaging sexual relationships, and other physically abusive bad habits.

In 1994, Angela took a huge triple-hit.  During this time of crisis, God finally broke through to her as she slept on a cold floor in an empty apartment in Atlanta, Georgia.  Having lost her fiancé, her job, and hearing that her mother had been diagnosed with cancer, it became quite apparent that she could not survive another day under her own power.  Angela finally admitted that she had lost all hope and needed Christ in her life.  In truth, like many others, Angela had felt God tugging at her heart for years prior to having the rug pulled out from under her feet.  Unfortunately, in all those instances, she had chosen to tune out and reject the still, quiet voice of God in exchange for her own thrill-seeking desires and ambitions.

More than a decade later, Angela is a new woman in Christ!  She is married to a professional corporate pilot and home schools their two sons.  God not only saved and restored her but he also provided a way for her to use her former love of motorcycles and music in a positive way.  She is currently a biker and member of the Christian Motorcyclist's Association (C.M.A.) and an Praise Team member at Woodland Park Baptist Church in Hammond, LA.

In the wake of her salvation in 1994, God used Angela to reach many folks for Christ through Bible Studies, Youth Detention/Prison Ministries, and through her personal relationships in the states of Georgia, Virginia, Texas, and Florida.  But it was not until early 2008 as she began finalizing plans to move to Southern Louisiana that her most challenging calling was revealed. God impressed on her heart that He wanted her return to her rock music roots which she had long abandoned due to its negative influence of the past.  In fact, God planned to take the music that had accompanied Angela in her “dead years” and to use that same musical sound to hook the hearts of others trapped in sin and bring them to Himself.  Isn’t that like God to take something that was intended for harm but He intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives”? (Genesis 50:20)

With this clear divine calling, Angela immediately began searching the areas around Hammond, LA for other musicians that shared God’s vision to reach the broken and outcast.  As never before, her excitement grew when she realized that Jesus had thrown opened the door for her to tell the world what He had done for her, and better yet, a chance to tell show others what He can do for them.

  Luke 12:48 says, “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”  In light of that, Angela goes wherever Christ leads to share the Gospel.  She is dedicated to ministries in the local homeless shelter, Celebrate Recovery, CMA, youth detention centers, prisons, secular and Christian biker rallies, and is a First Team Member with Bill Glass Prison Ministries.  Although all her service and Soul Salvage Project are ministries of the heart and not those of monetary reward, Angela believes that she has the greatest job in the world.  Turning her back on the traditional message of today’s blues and rock, she is now writing and performing lyrics filled with the hope of redemption.  Like the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears and hair in Luke 7, Angela Wolf’s driving passion and realistic approach to sharing the Gospel of Christ is a direct result of her personal experience of God’s overwhelming mercy and grace.

            Fellow Christians, may you obey the words of Christ, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” Mark 5:19
